ABOUT ADAM
“My work has been with individuals, couples and groups, with a specialty in relationships and sexuality.”
Born and raised in the Midwest, I received my B.A. from the University of Michigan in 1987 and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 1995 from the California School of Professional Psychology. I have almost 30 years experience providing psychotherapy in private practice, hospital, and agency settings to culturally diverse clientele. My work has been with individuals, couples and groups, addressing relationship issues, sexual concerns, anxiety, depression, addictions, grief, life transitions, and men’s and gender issues.
As a non-native Spanish-speaker married into a Latino family, I am sensitive to issues of cross-cultural relationships, multicultural families, immigration and acculturation. I was a Bay Area resident for 30 years and now live in Santa Fe, New Mexico with my spouse and our teenager.
