ABOUT ADAM EIGNER
“My work has been with individuals, couples and groups, with a specialty in relationships and sexuality.”
Born and raised in the Midwest, I received my B.A. from the University of Michigan in 1987 and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 1995 from the California School of Professional Psychology. I have over 25 years experience providing psychotherapy in private practice, hospital, and agency settings to culturally diverse clientele. My work has been with individuals, couples and groups, addressing relationship issues, sexual concerns, anxiety, depression, addictions, grief, life transitions, and men’s and gender issues.
As a non-native Spanish-speaker married into a Latino family, I am sensitive to issues of cross-cultural relationships, multicultural families, immigration and acculturation. I have been a Bay Area resident since 1990 and live in the East Bay with my spouse and child.
